Glock originally was a cutlery co. before they got into the gun biz. they are a good quality knife for the money, a little light for a field knife but will work. Don't pay over $30.00 though.
I orginally bought a Glock knife when I was stationed in Berlin back in 1980.  I was impressed by its simplicity and strength.  The way it locked into its sheath was quite clever as well.  I used it during a 3-week French Commando school, and it did not let me down,  It kept an edge despite cutting manila and nylon rope, paracord, and small branches.  My knife did not have the sawback like later models.  The polymer handle was comfortable during long use.  One caution - the polymer does melt, so keep it away from heat sources.  At the end of commando schoool, I traded a French soldier my knife for some uniforms.  I finally bought a new Glock knife last year, and looks exactly the same as that one back in the '80's.  I expect it will be just as good as the first one.

My 50 my year old  K Bar doesn't attach to a Glock pistol, but still remains a favorite that I would choose as a combat Knife.

The leather scabbard appears a little worn and rough, but the blade retains the orginial 98% blued bade.  The -1 to 2% missing is due to sharpening.  The steel maintains a easily sharpened, long holding edge.  I'm not that impressed with German steel used in their knives.  Although I only own two German steel blades, a Puma and another, a folder that I can't recall the company's name.
